It's done!I am so proud of myself, and right now very elated at finally having finished a big lace item. This was, in most part, due to such a great pattern. I am so glad that I purchased it, and I can understand why so many people have made shawls from it. It was the perfect mix of activity without being too brain mushing, but also without being boring.
I will definitely be making another one of these.
(I hope Mum doesn't read this in the next week before she gets it, probably not....lol)
Blocking the lace was a pretty big learning curve, as I haven’t really ever done that before. I think I learnt a lot, and kept seeing ways to go back and fix it, and line the sections up better than they were.
